Westley is a small village located just 2.5 miles from Bury St Edmunds. It lies on the west side of the town off Junction 42 of the A14.
The village has a population of approximately 190. Properties are a mix of traditional cottages, modern family homes and some historical properties. The oldest dates back to the 16th century.
Facilties are limited; there is no village shop or village hall but a small premises which was formerly a social club for agricultural workers in the village serves as the village 'local' and social venue. The church is of historic interest and provides a focal point for the village.
